Essex County Council for Young Children

The purpose of the County Councils for Young Children is to create an environment where parents/families come together with providers and other community members as active partners to identify and discuss the issues that affect the health, education and safety of our children from pregnancy to 8 in Essex County as they relate to the needs, concerns, hopes, dreams and successes of our families.  It is an ideal opportunity to effect change, have a say in your child’s development.

The council gives you a chance for you to voice your concerns and to create an environment that is inclusive.  Engage community leaders at the local level and gain the support through training that can help strengthen our families and our communities.

Make A Change In Your Community

The ECCYC is looking for parents, grandparents, foster parents and guardians of children from birth through age eight (0-8) who are interested in making changes in the communities in which we live.
