DCF knows that your agency takes such evacuation orders seriously and has plans in place in the event your agency needs to re-locate children and/or families residing in your residential programs or individual homes to another location or if you need to re-locate your child care center operations.

Please access the emergency management system in your area. Information is available at http://www.ready.nj.gov/.  However, in the event you need to re-locate children and/or families residing in one of your child-care centers, residential programs or individual homes to another location, please follow the following protocols to report your agency’s re-location plan:

In the event you need to re-locate a child or family with an open DYFS case, call DCF’s Child Abuse/Neglect Hotline at 1 (877) 652-2837 to report the re-location plan for the child or family.

24 hour mental health programs:  (609) 826-3999

After hours, please call DCF’s Child Abuse/Neglect Hotline at 1 (877) 652-2873 to report your agency’s re-location plan.
