So I my daughter been going to daycare for sometimes ,and I got pregnant but had a really rough pregnancy so the baby came early and he’s been having issues with food staying in his tummy ,PFP SENT ME A FORM TO RE-DO MY PAPER WORK ,WHICH I DID AND SUMMITED ,and I told the lady that I was on maternity leave and am receiving disability and they are taking tax out of every pay cheque sent ,and she ask when will I be going back to work ,I told her I really dnt know yet due to my baby situation, he needs to be monitored a lot for now ,and she told me they will have to stop my PPF BENEFITS Cause AM NOT WORKING ,I told her but am paying tax still through my disability cheques she’s said it dnt matter ,I dnt understand why will the child be stop from going to daycare because their parents is not working,or on leave, the child has gotten adjusted with going to daycare meeting frds and doing other activities why stop it because his or her parents is on leave ? and for a woman who just give birth ,if their kids goes to school or day care it gives them time to rest alil after being up all night .Sometimes the system here confuses me alot

PFP has been a life saver and I am currently receiving free childcare. I only have to pay for the difference if school is closed and my child has to go to the daycare for a full day instead of Aftercare. They don't pay for daycare transportation, but I take care of that anyway. During the summer, they pay for full time care as well. They also will send you locations of daycares near you if you need references.PFP however, is hard to get if you don't already have money to pay for about 5-6 weeks of daycare. When I 1st applied, I had to pay full price out of pocket until I was approved. My kid was 2 at the time so full time care was expensive. You can only get approved if you already have a full time job, or are in school full time, which contradicts the purpose. When my friend had her baby, she couldn't afford to pay for daycare to get a job, therefore, didn't qualify. Fortunately for me, I already had a savings and some help from willing relatives until I was approved. They should at least work it out where you can get the care once you get an employment verification letter and officially start working. And if you don't qualify, you pay the difference or pay them back.

I just had the most amazing conversation with Sharon Grant from PFP’s East Orange branch. She mentioned all the services provided by PFP and the other organizations within her building including help with rent and my electric bill. She had no idea how rough it’s been for us these past few months, but her conversation confirmed everything God told me, “I will supply all of your needs according to my riches and glory.” Thank you again.

I would like to publicly thank Ms Sharon Grant. She is so phenomenal. She is truly a heaven sent angel. If you ever get a chance to speak with her or have her help you. You wouldn’t be disappointed. She goes above and beyond to help everyone. She gave me numbers for extra Resources and even tried helping me look for work. Idk if that’s in her title but she went above and beyond and I really appreciate it. I would recommend her to anyone if I could. ❤️❤️❤️
