Grow NJ Kids

Grow NJ Kids Quality Rating and Improvement System

Grow NJ Kids is New Jersey’s Quality Rating Improvement System(QRIS) designed to create universal standards of quality for all early care and education programs.

For families, it provides information on selecting a quality provider who is working to raise the quality of services offered and improve learning outcomes for children.

For child care, family child care, Head Start, Early Head Start and school district sponsored early learning programs, it provides resources that help raise quality and continuously improve programs.

Programs for Parents (PfP) supports Grow NJ Kids for early childhood providers located in Essex County. This exciting program provides center-based and family early childhood care and education programs serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children with a number of incentives for demonstrating and working to improve the quality of experiences for children and families.
